Short description of the project:
On September 18, 2017, PAB Akrapović d.o.o. signed with the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts the Contract for the allocation of a grant for the implementation of the project entitled “Diversification of the production process and the sales program of PAB Akrapović d.o.o.”, contract reference number KK.03.2.1.05.0166. The implementation of the project is co-financed from the European structural and investment funds in the financial period 2014–2020.

The implementation of the project and investments in the production line, as well as the development of the technological process, will enable the development of business operation, the production facility for the production of protective fire helmets and the expansion of the company’s capacities. The investment will enable penetrating new markets such as the markets of Spain, USA, South America and Australia. Viewed more broadly, the implementation of the project ensures an increase in export, Croatian competitiveness, and it places a small company alongside big competitors.

General project objective: Boosting competitiveness and competence of the company through the diversification of the company’s production process and sales program

Specific project objectives: Purchase of new production machinery and equipment

Project activities:
• Purchase and delivery of machinery: a plastic injection machine, product handling manipulator, CNC machine, vacuum coating machine and air cooling and air filtration system’,
• Modernization of the production area for injection and varnishing
• Participation at the “A+A Trade Fair” in Düsseldorf, Germany
• Promotion and visibility – modernization of the company’s website and promotional materials
• Project management and administration

Expected results of the project:
• Increase in production quality
• Development of a new product – HT05 helmet
• Reduction of scrap in production
• Increase in the number of employees
• Increase in sales revenue
• Increase in export revenue
